Chicken Tikka

– 6 single chicken breast fillets
– 1 T grated fresh ginger
– 3 cloves garlic, crushed
– 3 T lemon juice
– 2 tsp. Ground coriander
– 2 tsp. Ground cumin
– ½ tsp garam masala
– ½ tsp chili powder
– ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (my own addition)
– 1/3 cup yogurt
– 2 T tomato paste

Cut chicken fillets in half, make 3 shallow cuts across each piece
Combine remaining ingredients in large bowl; add chicken, stir to coat with marinade.
Cover, refrigerate overnight.
Barbecue or griddle fry chicken, both sides until tender.
